Amongst the vast void of space is a world inhabited solely by Pokémon. They live together in this world, in harmony and cooperation (most of the time). And they are aided by groups of Pokemon who perform various tasks for others, including- but not limited to- rescuing other Pokemon in need, exploring uncharted territories awaiting for discovery, and capturing wanted criminals. These groups are split across the world, and often are referred to by different names. Whether they are known as Rescue Teams, or Exploration Teams, or Squadrons, they are all affiliated with a guild of sorts, littered across the entire planet.
But even then, there are some problems even these teams can't accomplish on their own... Especially in one particular case: a disaster that the planet has barely managed to recover from...
As the life of the Great Destroyer came to its end, it left behind a very deadly weapon: the Dark Drive. Soon after the Great Destroyer fell into a long slumber, the Dark Drive was hidden away, never to be found again. Or at least, that was what was supposed to have happened. Three years ago, the Dark Drive was uncovered and weaponized by the Paleozoic Pokémon, Genesect. In a display of destruction, it used the Dark Drive to unleash a devestating rain of dark energy upon the world. Of all the continents that felt the wrath of the Dark Drive, the one that took the hardest hit was the large continent of Quohyaku. The most powerful of the blasts were aimed directly at the continent, striking with enough force to split Quohyaku apart.
Two of the continent's bravest Squadrons attempted to defeat Genesect. They were unsuccessful. In the end, it was up to those remarked as legends to defeat Genesect and destroy the Dark Drive. But even with the Dark Drive gone, the world was left in ruins under a pitch black sky. Dark energy lingered throughout the world, corrupting the minds of several of the surviving Pokemon. It's no exception in the split continent of Quohyaku, where the number of criminals and have been steadily increasing. Sections of land have been twisted by dark energy, resulting in an alarming number of "Mystery Dungeons".
More and more squadrons quickly formed in Quohyaku in response to this, in an attempt to aid those affected by the lingering dark energy. Three guilds now exist in Quohyaku to handle the large number of squadrons formed: the Ghaskjokl Guild, the Sigea Guild, and the Kyivre Guild. But despite the increase in the number of squadrons, there are still some corrupted that have managed to slip away on multiple occasions. And unbeknownst to most of the residents of Quohyaku, a new problem is slowly developing within all of this...
Sensing an immediate threat to not only Quohyaku but the entire world, those legends had little option but to contact another world for help. To contact beings completely different from them. To contact you.
Brought into this world, you have been transformed into a Pokemon. Your mind has been wipped of everything except your name and the human nature that you have lost. You lie on the outstirks of the first of many mystery dungeons you will encounter. Your journey begins here.
